Hand-Dyed Yarns It is the nature of hand-dyed yarns to be individual and imperfect. Each skein is totally unique. Please expect some imperfections with all of our hand-dyed products. Even though I'm a very particular (Virgo!) dyer, variances can and will occur. Our Gradual Gradient yarns may be slightly mottled; that is just the nature of the process. Skeins dyed together (as one skein) will be listed together and should not need to be alternated when knitting. Please use our colourway galleries as a rough guide only! Actual skeins will be shown in product listings and these may vary from the photograph shown in the galleries. Please do not discuss your dissatisfaction on public forums etc until after you have contacted us. We want our customers to be happy and will do everything in our power to have a 100% satisfaction rate. Environmental Policy We recognise that hand-dyeing yarn is a resource (water) hungry enterprise. Whenever possible, we use rainwater. To reduce the environmental impact of shipping yarn, we try to source our yarn as close to home as possible, while bringing you the best wool that the world produces. We love our Australian wools and are always trying to source more. We import popular undyed yarns like from Fleece Artist and Henry's Attic so that you don't have to. All this adds up to less yarn kilometres. We also recycle packing materials whenver practicable. |
